Kit later returned to college and was introduced to art. She studied drawing, weaving and water color. Kit graduated from California College of Arts, Oakland California with a BFA in Interior Architecture in 1977. She spent her career years in the San Francisco Bay area as a Space Planner and finally Real Estate Manager.

Kit returned to Oregon in late 2000 and now resides in Cottage Grove. She is a VFR pilot, enjoys her art, writing and plays an occasional round of golf.

Kit has sold her watercolors in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in the 70's, was a member of the Clay Guild in Walnut Creek, California for many years before returning to Oregon. One of her pieces was in the juried LCC show in 2002.

Kit is currently working with fused glass pieces and taking an oil painting class.
